Cornmeal Pizza Dough (machine)
Life Hack: Your machine does not have a timer program dough cycle so:
- tally up half of the minutes of the final rise + all of the minutes of the bake cycle and
- add that to the time you want your pizza dough ready, and
- use that as your programmed time.
Example: my Cuisinart 1-lb white bread cycle's final Rise is 55 minutes, and Bake is 37 minutes. Divide 55/2 to make about 23. Add that to Bake time to get exactly 1 hour. I want the dough ready at 5:30 when I get home from work, so I set the program cycle to have the "bread" ready at 6:30.
If you are using the program, add the yeast on top of the dry ingredients.
